Tea Bread with Dried Fruits
This is a no-knead tea bread recipe that’s simple, cozy, and delicious. You can use any dried fruits you like — I chose raisins, apricots, and cranberries for a lovely mix. Perfect with a cup of tea.

- 100 g dried apricots (¾ cup)
- 100 g raisins
- 100 g dried cranberries
- ½ cup sugar (optional)
- 300 ml hot strong black tea
- ½ tsp bicarbonate soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 name egg, lightly beaten
Alchemy
- Soak dried fruits with hot tea, cinnamon stick, and sugar (if using). Leave 5 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line a rectangular baking tin.
- Mix soaked fruits with sifted flour, baking powder, bicarbonate, cinnamon, and egg.
- Pour into tin, bake ~1 hour or until a skewer comes out clean.
- Cool 10 min, slice, and serve with butter.
